projects
Phoebe is an early career dance artist specialising in choreographing dance with complex mathematics. Her aim is to create choreographic structures for using complex maths with dance. She works with mathematic scores derived from digital coding systems such as Pure Data and translated into movement scores herself. The choreographic outcome is multi-layered to illustrate the scored relationship of maths with movement, sound, space and technology.

Current research works with archive and repertoire running alongside each other. The choreographies explore how to make a process visible during performance. How also can we simplify complex mathematical methods to the audience?
